Thankful.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I have so much to be thankful for.  Thank you for my husband who loves me. Thank you for blessing me with 3 darling daughters. Thank you for our families, our friends, our church, our home. Thank you for blessing us with everything we need.  I am truly thankful.  So, why dear Lord, do I still feel discontent? Is it because I see the pictures of starving children in Africa, and I know that not everyone lives the blessed life I live? Is it because I feel the hurt of others' losses so deeply? Is it because there is something you want me to do that I am not yet aware of?  Father, please give me your heart.  Help me to see people through your eyes.  Show me what you desire for me and from me.  May others see Your light in me. Give me courage to share your love, Lord.  I give you thanks Lord, for you are good; your love endures forever!
