Marvelous Name

When I lie in my bed,

I think of a marvelous Name

A Name that is righteous and true,

A Name of love and peace and harmony,

A Name that can save you,

I’ll know this Name forevermore

This Name is Jesus, Christ the Lord

I think of what this Name has done,

What change it’s made in the world,

The life it lived to save my sin,

And how much it had to suffer!

I know this Name,

I know it well,

It’s going to be there forever

I trust this Name,

I live for this Name,

The knot it’s tied with me will not sever

I sing to this Name,

And give it praise,

Its love for me is true,

It deserves all worship,

Song or dance,

It loves to hear it from you
