Ever since I was a child, I've had a small dream of writing a children's book. I since decided that I love writing books for my kids, but didn't think I'd ever have one published. Well, our new neighbor happens to be an author and told me that Borders will publish your book for free. My new Bible study teacher also happens to be an author and had me intrigued as well. So, just for fun I decided to try out the self-publishing link through borders.com, which led me to lulu.com. I tried it out and thought it was kinda fun. So, I published a book I wrote for my girls! Still inspired by the cafe with a mission to support missions, I've decided that if there is any profit from this book, it will go to support missions as well.
The book is titled "I Love You from Head to Toe" You can see the words to the poem if you look at my post titled the same name in March 2008. I used photos of my girls as illustrations. You can preview a few pages of the book by clicking on the link below, then the book title, then on preview book. The price of the book is $18.95, of which $2 comes to me. I know many of my friends and family already support charities and missions. And I know that $19 is spendy for a paperback book!
