Josh and I were blessed by the fact that Josh's work pays for him to go to conferences to get his required Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits every year, and this year he found a conference on board Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas.

So we got to go on a "2 for the price of 1" 5-day cruise through the Caribbean. Our girls were well taken care of as they took turns staying with each set of grandparents - they had a blast! Josh and I flew to Fort Lauderdale and met up with our good friends Teryl (Josh's P.A. school buddy) and Maria (a fellow P.A. wife I spent lots of time with in WV!), then hopped onto the cruise ship.
View from our roomOn board the ship, there was so much to do: rock climbing, jumping on a bungee trampoline, shuffleboard and ping pong, pools and jacuzzis, great performances and game shows, and lots and lots of delicious food! It was such a relaxing trip, despite a couple of days of rolling waves that kept the boat rocking!
On day 3 of our cruise, we arrived at the Grand Cayman Islands ~ the day they were experiencing a tropical depression so it POURED! We did a little shopping, and when we were thoroughly soaked, we returned to the ship.

On day 4 we cruised on over to Cozumel, where Josh & I got to have an amazing swim with a beautiful dolphin at this lovely beach park called Chankanaab.

AWESOME!!! Looks like so much fun. Maybe better weather would have been nice but you did go during hurricane season:-) I am so glad you got the chance to go away together even if it was partially "business". Thanks for sharing the pics!
