Meet Chaltu!

My life is comfortable.
My home is warm.
My closets and drawers are stuffed full of clothing.
I can reach into my fridge or cupboard anytime I want, and there is food to eat.

As I look at pictures of people in the poorer areas of Ethiopia and read their stories, I see that many do not have a comfortable place to lay their heads. Many are homeless. Many are adorned in torn clothing. Many must forage through the dump just for a bite to eat.

My heart wrestles with these two truths. I have more than I need. They have too little.  I can't help but ask why.  I see what God my Father accepts as pure religion (see James 1:27 below), and it's clear...WE are His answer!

As I looked at the faces of Ethiopians waiting to be sponsored through Adoption Ministry 1:27 (http://www.adoptionministry127.com), I prayed. I asked God if there is someone He is asking me to help, to be a part of changing their life! God answered. Chaltu's face jumped out at me and I knew.  God was calling me to make a difference in her life.  I can't wait to share more of the story as it unfolds...
In just 3 months, I will have the privilege of meeting families like Chaltu's whose lives have been forever changed because of the generosity of families here in the USA who are donating $40 a month to provide their basic needs.

Meet Chaltu!
Do you want to be a part of changing someone's life?

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
