Christmas letter by Makenzi

Merry CHRISTmas!

This year my mom asked me to write the
Christmas letter, so here goes!
This year my family made a BIG move. Exactly, we moved!
Thank God Alli and I still go to the same school.
OK, I shouldn’t have said BIG move since we only moved
about a mile from the old house.
Anyway, this year I am going to do JEKAB (pronounced Jacob)
to tell about our year. I’ll tell you this now
for the whole family though
since we all thoughtDisneyland
was OUTSTANDING
(though I‘ll mention it again)!

Josh: My dad is still working as a P.A. He loved our trip to Disneyland in April. His softball team came in 3rd for the State Tournament over the Summer! :-) Sadly dad had a broken thumb so he could only coach. :-( Dad also had fun playing pickle ball in our backyard. Oh, and dad had the idea to surprise us on a trip to Disneyland! Thank You Dad!

Erin: Mom is now what I like to call a WEC. She is the Women’s Education Coordinator at our church. She stays home and watches my sisters and I. Again, the normal “mom” thing. This year she enjoyed bible studies at church. She likes helping at our school with Mini Library. Mom loved surprising us with going to Disneyland and her favorite ride was Soarin’ over California at California Adventure.

Kenzi: Me! I have just met double digits since I’m 10 and I‘m loving it! This year I also (this is a “Well, duhhh”) loved, loved, loved, loved, loved Disneyland. My 3 favorite rides I went on twice: Splash Mountain, Matter- Horn, and The Grizzly River Run. I am going to be performing in a play ( it may be after the play when you get this) called The First Day of Christmas. I’m Miss World Christmas Patricia Gina Peartree (like partridge in a pear-tree)! I am very lucky that I have a fabulous teacher for the second year in a row, Mrs. Perrin! I even got all my friends in my class! I’m participating in chorus this year and I’m excited to get to perform at a Tree Lighting Ceremony and at a retirement home/nursing home. I also got my ears pierced! Yeah!

Alli: Alli has started first grade and is excited to have a great teacher and her best friend in her class. Also, she loved Disneyland (everyone did). Alli loved being at the cabin over the summer. Like I mentioned for me, Alli is (by the time you get this it may be was) Junior Miss World Christmas in our play at church. Her name is Strawberry Apple-Blossom. Alli is also off to a great start learning to read!

Bryn: Bryn is as always being her mischievous little self. She has turned three. Bryn enjoyed meeting Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. Bryn has a Pluto stuffed animal she sleeps with, so when she saw Pluto in Disneyland, she said, ”Hi Pluto, it’s me!” Pluto gave her a high-five after that luckily. Bryn started pre-school and Cubbies and is loving them both.

Merry Christmas and God Bless, Kenzi
