Josh and I would love your prayers, as we are joining a team of 30+ people from our church for a short-term mission trip to El Florido, Mexico from September 25-28, 2008. I am VERY excited, as I have had a love for serving in missions for many years, but this will be a first for Josh! Last September I started praying for a mission opportunity, so I am excited to see what God has planned. Our main project will be working on home construction for people in need. Our team will build a total of 6 homes, measuring 12 x 16 feet.
Prayer requests:
That our mission team would display a heart for serving and will be bonded together in unity by the love of Jesus.
For opportunities to share Christ's love with those we will meet in Mexico.
Safety in our travels and construction projects.
For our kids while we are away.
For lives to be changed for the glory of God!
